Jaguars plan full 2028 home schedule in Jacksonville, move most 2027 games to Orlando
Jacksonville Jaguars aim to play all 2028 home games in renovated stadium, with most 2027 home games in Orlando.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are planning to hold a full slate of home games in Jacksonville for the 2028 NFL season, coinciding with the reopening of their stadium after a $1.4 billion renovation, WKMG News 6 ClickOrlando reported.
Jaguars president Mark Lamping said the team hopes to keep all 2028 home games at the 'stadium of the future' in Jacksonville, marking a shift away from their annual home games at London's Wembley Stadium that began in 2013.
Currently, the Jaguars are playing most of their 2027 home games in Orlando, as construction reduces capacity at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville this season, according to WKMG.
While the team has the option to play up to three home games in London next season, Lamping described this as unlikely and said it was mainly designed for a possible Gainesville location, which the team did not choose.
The Jaguars are expected to play one NFL-mandated international game next season, with hopes it will be in London, but the league ultimately decides the location, WKMG reported.
