One dead, two injured in southwest Atlanta shooting

A shooting in southwest Atlanta left one man dead and two others hospitalized, police say.

Atlanta police responded to a shooting around 9 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Sylvan Road SW, according to Atlanta News First.

Officers found a blood trail and a possible victim leaving the scene. Two men and one woman arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds.

One of the men died, while the other man and the woman were conscious and breathing at the hospital. The deceased man has not been identified.

The police have not disclosed what led to the shooting or whether there have been any arrests. The investigation is ongoing, and more details will be provided as they become available.
