The city of Gastonia has started the process to find a new operator for CaroMont Health Park, the local baseball stadium, according to WSOC-TV.

This move comes weeks after the Gastonia Ghost Peppers, the team that played at the stadium, ceased operations.

City officials are now searching for an organization or company to take over management of the ballpark.

The future use and events at CaroMont Health Park depend on finding a new operator to maintain and run the facility.
