Midway Rising redevelopment project advances to San Diego City Council

San Diego City Council committee unanimously approved Midway Rising plan with thousands of homes and a 16,000-seat venue.

A San Diego City Council committee has unanimously approved the Midway Rising redevelopment project, according to FOX 5 San Diego.

The project includes plans for thousands of new homes and a new entertainment center with a capacity of 16,000 seats.

With committee approval secured, the proposal is set to be considered by the full San Diego City Council in early November.

If approved, the development would bring significant housing and entertainment options to the Midway area of San Diego.
