The WNBA Finals open Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET at San Francisco's Chase Center, featuring the Golden State Valkyries against the Atlanta Dream, according to krnb.com and hotspotatl.com.

The Valkyries, in only their second year, and the Dream, who last reached the finals in 2013, are both seeking their first championship titles. The Dream are led by Defensive Player of the Year Angel Reese, along with Jordin Canada and Rhyne Howard, while the Valkyries swept the regular-season series against Atlanta.

Both teams swept their semifinal series 3-0, with Golden State defeating the defending champion Las Vegas Aces and Atlanta sweeping the 2024 champions, the New York Liberty. The 2026 Finals use a best-of-seven 2-2-1-1-1 format for only the second time in WNBA history.

The series schedule includes multiple games at Chase Center and State Farm Arena in Atlanta, with broadcasts on NBC, USA Network, CNBC, and streaming on Peacock. NBC returns to WNBA Finals coverage for the first time since 2002, with a new on-air team for Games 1 and 4.

This marks a significant local sports event for San Francisco as the Valkyries host the opening game and potentially more games at Chase Center throughout the series.
