California Secretary of State Shirley Weber convened an informational roundtable to discuss election integrity measures, according to KPBS.

The meeting took place shortly before the Trump administration filed a lawsuit against California officials, alleging that noncitizens received ballots in the state.

State election officials emphasized their preparedness to defend the integrity of California's elections in light of the lawsuit.

The roundtable aimed to inform the public and stakeholders about the safeguards in place to ensure lawful voting processes.
